AJ Fernandez Amar cigars celebrate the dual Cuban and Lebanese heritage of well-known cigarmaker AJ Fernandez. In Spanish, Amar means “to love,” while in Arabic, Amar means “moon.” AJ created the blend in the wake of a fire that broke out at his Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars factory in Nicaragua in 2025. According to AJ, Amar represents reflection, gratitude, and resilience, marking his appreciation for the support he received among industry peers as he rebounded from the fire.
A Cuban-seed wrapper, cultivated in Nicaragua, covers a complex blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers grown on AJ’s estates. Four popular sizes reveal a medium to full-bodied profile of cedar, cinnamon, nutmeg, coffee bean, and black pepper with a smooth, creamy texture.
