People always ask me what my favorite cigar is. Right now, it's undoubtedly the Foundation Olmec! I have never seen a more meticulous cigar manufacturing process go into a cigar. So much love and attention has gone into these small batch beauties, it would be crazy not to pick up a few! Grab a box from Cigarking.com while they're still available.
Nick Melillo, one of the cigar industry’s most prolific blenders, unveils the Olmec—an homage to the ancient Olmec Civilization, which predated the Aztecs and Mayans and was among the first to cultivate tobacco in these same soils. Featuring one of the world’s oldest seed varieties, the blend uses premium Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí and Jalapa, bale-aged three years after fermentation, under a San Andrés Negro wrapper from the Olmecs’ rich volcanic soil. Slow, low-temperature fermentation preserves its natural oils. The result is a full-bodied smoke of cacao, dark espresso, and spice—rich yet balanced.
