Ferio Tego may seem like the new kid on the block, but the duo behind the brand bring decades of cigar industry experience to the table. After the decision was made to shutter the Nat Sherman Premium cigar division, the man who was in charge of its revitalization negotiated to purchase the brands he worked so hard to build. It’s not that the Nat Sherman brand wasn’t producing, it was simply a bottom line decision by its conglomerate parent company. So Michael Herklots and his business partner Brendon Scott purchased the rights to the brands and renegotiated their deals with manufacturing partners in order to save the brands that they worked so hard to create. The new company and owner of these brands is called Ferio Tego (translates to "Strike and Defend") which is the Herklots family motto. The brands and packaging should be familiar despite the fact the Nat Sherman name is no longer on the product. The blends and manufacturers have remained the same too.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Timeless blend, Michael Herklots decided it was time to create a limited edition that celebrated the first new product he created during his time at Nat Sherman. The cigar, like the original Timeless blend, is made in the Dominican Republic by Quesada Cigars under the watchful eye of Manuel Quesada. The blend features well aged Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, a Dominican binder, and a Dominican wrapper. Only 2500 boxes of 10 will be made. Tasting notes include flavors of espresso, sweet cream, and cocoa along with hints of earth, cedar, salt and pepper. It’s a tremendous blend and a great reminder of what made the original Timeless blend so special.
