CLE Maduro 6x60 Gordo (6x60 / Box 25)
CLECLE Maduro 6x60 Gordo (6x60 / Box 25)
C.L.E. is one of those names that doesn’t get much time in the spotlight, but everyone still knows they’re some of the best darned cigars money can buy. In recent years, there haven’t been a ton of new additions to the company’s portfolio, but as of late, they have been revamping their core line that put them on the map in the first place. Not only that, but there is a star addition to the core lineup that already has the cigar world going crazy: C.L.E. Maduro.
When people see C.L.E. brand owner Christian Eiroa of former Camacho fame and “Maduro” in the same sentence, the first thought that comes to mind is the monster that was the original Camacho Triple Maduro back in the day. Well, relax, folks. This one is a bit tamer and a lot more refined. C.L.E. Maduro has the same Honduran filler and binder blend as its Corojo and Habano counterparts, but the big shift is in the Mexican San Andres wrapper leaf. This change brings about an entirely new take on the flavor profile, one so good that C.L.E. Maduro has already earned multiple 90+ ratings in Cigar Aficionado.
