Cigar King is both proud and honored to announce that we received Cigar Rights of America's annual "Defense of Liberty" award on July 21, 2014.  

The Defense of Liberty is a yearly award given to a select number of retailers in acknowledgement of their contributions and continued support of Cigar Rights of America and their efforts to protect the rights of those who enjoy premium cigars across the United States.The award was delivered in person by Glynn Loope, who currently serves as the executive director of the CRA. We had the pleasure of sitting down with Mr. Loope for several hours and discussing the current state of the industry, as well as what is arguably the most pressing topic of the industry - the FDA. While I will not quote Mr. Loope directly, for fear of not doing justice to his thoughts, I will say that in the span of several short hours Mr. Loope managed to drill home just how important the work that Cigar Rights of America does is, as well inspire confidence that the CRA is doing everything it can to fight for our right to enjoy premium cigars.

To Mr. Loope and everyone at the CRA, our hats are off to you. We can not express our gratitude for your work enough.
