Patina Habano

Patina is a fantastic newer cigar brand on the market. Created by Mo Maali, whose family has been deeply involved in the premium cigar industry for several generations, Patina was created to show the beauty of age. In other words, the beauty of aged tobacco. Patina is an oxidation process that, over time, produces a green film over bronze or copper (i.e. a statue or building). While the tobacco leaf changes from green to brown (opposite of copper or bronze), it is this aging process that creates tobacco that is fit to be rolled into a premium cigar. The longer you age tobacco in the proper setting, the more refined it becomes. Mo Maali says: “When people ask about what drove me to start Patina, it was a combination of multiple factors.
