L'Atelier Surrogates Backline (Assorted Sizes / Box 20)

Dan Welsh, co-founder of L'Atelier Cigars, was inspired to create the Surrogates Back Line series after noticing a striking resemblance between vacuum tubes in guitar amplifiers and the shape of certain cigars. This led to the cigars' distinctive pointed cap, evoking the ends of those classic amp tubes.

Handcrafted at the renowned My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua, the Back Line features elite craftsmanship throughout—including a signature shaggy foot on each stick. The blend consists of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan fillers, all carefully aged to deliver a medium-to-full-bodied smoking experience.

The flavor profile leans toward rich herbal and earthy notes, complemented by layers of nuts, creaminess, and subtle spice, with some reviews highlighting additional touches of wood, leather, and espresso for a bold yet balanced character.
