Cigar manufacturers love to celebrate milestones. We’re not sure if we’ve ever seen any other industry as smitten with celebrating anniversaries. This is not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination, rather just an observation. Truthfully, these milestones drive most cigar companies to create some of their best work, and the Joya de Nicaragua Dos Cientos is no exception. It celebrates 200 years of Nicaraguan Independence (along with Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala) from the Spanish. This limited edition masterpiece was created by their in-house Obras Maestras team who create their most cherished and prized blends.

The Joya De Nicaragua Dos Cientos Gran Toro is a spectacular and complex new release from the outstanding Obras Maestras team at the JDN Factory. It is a one time limited release that commemorates Central American Independence. The team selected a complex blend of tobaccos from across the region to be included in this masterpiece. They selected filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Dominican Republic along with a Mexican binder leaf. Topping the blend is a gorgeous Ecuador Habano wrapper. The blend is medium-full in strength and body. Tasting notes include flavors of coffee, dried fruits, and chocolate with hints of salt, pepper, and earth. It’s an outstanding blend that can appeal to a broad range of tastes and satisfy anyone.
