The Illusione Rothchildes CT is a line extension of the popular Rothchildes line that brought an inexpensive, everyday smoke to fans of the Illusione brand. The CT stands for Connecticut as Giolito chose a nice leaf from Ecuador to drape over a core of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobacco. It’s notable that this was the first Illusione to use a Connecticut wrapper, and he simply nailed the blend. Tasting notes include toasted breads, baking spices, and pepper with hints of cream and cedar.
