Developed with the involvement of Willy Herrera and Drew Estate’s cigar-making team, Undercrown Shade was created around an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, giving adult cigar enthusiasts a more approachable expression of the Undercrown concept.

Handcrafted in Nicaragua, the blend features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Sumatran binder, surrounding a combination of Dominican Criollo ’98 and Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo long-filler tobaccos. The lighter wrapper complements the richer filler tobaccos, creating a layered blend with both creamy and traditional tobacco characteristics.

Generally mild to medium in body, Undercrown Shade offers tasting notes that may be reminiscent of toast, roasted nuts, cream, cedar, subtle spice, and natural tobacco sweetness.
