Alec Bradley The Lineage Toro (6x54 / 5 Pack)

In 1996, Alan Rubin founded the Alec Bradley Cigar Co. He named the company after his two sons (Alec and Bradley), who were both less than 5 years old at the time. How does Alan commemorate the fact that both of his sons are now of legal smoking age? Well, he created the Alec Bradley Family Blend - The Lineage.

The Alec Bradley Family blend has been around for quite some time and it's earned ratings of up to 94 points by Cigar Aficionado Magazine. So to build on this family legacy, Alan went back to the well at the Raices Cubanas cigar factory in Honduras to develop "The Lineage".

The Lineage starts with the same Honduran and Nicaraguan filler blend as the original Family Blend as it's base. However, that's where the similarities end though. Topping the filler is a Nicaraguan-grown binder leaf. Finally we come to the real super star of the blend: The medium-to-dark brown, oily wrapper leaf grown in Trojes, Honduras. It's wonderfully constructed and the cap is finished with a nice pig-tail.

So what does this all add up to? A solid medium strength blend that is absolutely bursting with flavor. The Alec Bradley Family Blend Lineage starts off with a nice bit of cedar that develops as you puff to include flavors of nuts, earth, hints of sweetness, and pepper.
