Alec Bradley is a pretty widely recognized name in the world of premium cigars. Most people assume it’s the name of the company’s founder, but that’s Alan Rubin, who named the brand after his sons Alec & Bradley. It’s no surprise that they ended up in the cigar business. Since they were kids, they learned to appreciate the tradition and artistry of premium cigars even before they were allowed to smoke. When they both came of age and joined the family business, they began to learn different aspects of the cigar industry. It didn’t take them too long to figure out that they wanted to follow in their father’s footsteps and become second generation cigar makers. That's how the Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper came to be.

With Alan’s blessing, the brothers created Alec & Bradley Premium Cigars. They have been working and blending new, unique cigars that are different than the offerings from their father’s business. The Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper is just such a blend. Beginning with the label and packaging, you can tell there is something a little different going on. Next, you’ll notice that Gatekeeper is made in the Dominican Republic by the “Godfather” of premium cigars, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Using a blend of well-aged filler and binder tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, Gatekeeper is topped off with a beautiful Habano wrapper grown in Ecuador. This masterful blend has a wonderful profile featuring flavors of leather and woods, with hints of vanilla, nuts, and pepper. Gatekeeper is a tremendous sophomore release for the brothers, and we can’t wait to see what else their future holds.
