The Surrogates line from L'Atelier Imports started as a single store release originally created by Pete Johnson of Tatuaje. Those cigars turned out to be so wildly popular that Pete and his brother KC Johnson decided to produce the Surrogates line for everyone under the L'Atelier banner. It's the available everyday, limited or special edition cigar.

Each cigar boasts a different blend in a different size, so there truly is something for everyone. Hand-made in Esteli, Nicaragua at Pepin Garcia's cigar factory, each uses a Nicaraguan filler and binder blend but the wrappers differ on each cigar. This makes each size a unique blend in the Surrogates line up. You can expect anywhere from a medium up to a full strength cigar . With unique names like Animal Cracker, Tramp Stamp, Crystal Baller, and more, some people may be skeptical. But don't shy away from these tasty beauties based on the name, they are a great smoke that demand brought to the broader market.

Additionally, some of these fun named cigars have earned ratings of up to 91 points in Cigar Aficionado magazine and other notable publications.
