Sin Compromiso By Steve Saka Seleccion No. 7 Parejo (7x56 / Box of 13)
Steve Saka is what we call a veteran in the cigar industry. Credited for basically creating Liga Privada, Saka's cigars are held in the highest esteem, and each new release he brings rocks the industry in a big way. Typically, if the market catches wind of a new Saka Cigar, are phones ring off the hook for a good week. They're that sought after.
Saka's newest release, titled "Sin Compromiso", or "Without Compromise" may just be his tastiest release to date. Saka's company says Sin Compromiso will be a limited production release available to the company's "Best Select Purveyors". You may be asking yourself: "How do they know it's so good?" We got the rare opportunity to smoke one ourselves at the 2018 IPCPR Retailer's Show! While we love all of his contributions to the cigar world, this line in particular is truly a must smoke.
“Sin Compromiso is the result of over three years’ of experimental black tobacco harvests in Mexico, Ecuador and Nicaragua and the culmination of my experiences as a cigar blender,” Saka says. “The marquee’s name translates to ‘no compromise’ and that is the exact approach I took when creating this cigar. This blend is a direct reflection of all the skills I have learned and developed over the last twenty plus years and I am genuinely excited to share it with my fellow cigar smokers.”
The blend is comprised of a San Andrés Negro “Cultivo Tonto” wrapper, a hybridized “Thin Ligero” Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, and independent plantation grown Nicaraguan filler. Each Sin Compromiso box will be offered in five different soft-box pressed sizes and will come in a 13-count matte lacquered box.
