ULTRA-RARE: These Las Calaveras cigars are one of the rarest cigar releases we see all year. Made at My Father Cigars for Crowned Heads, these special sticks never last more than a few days in our stores, so don't hesitate on this sure-shot release!
Las Calaveras is the highly anticipated annual Crowned Heads release that began in 2014 and pays a respectful homage to those who have passed away in the previous year. It is our intent that Las Calaveras will be perceived as a celebration of life and memory, rather than a mournful symbol of death and loss.
The Las Calaveras EL 2022 marks the first time that the blend will feature a corojo wrapper; in fact, this will be the first time that a Las Calaveras cigar manufactured by My Father Cigars will be entirely made of Nicaraguan Tobaccos. The result is a taste profile that is extremely unique and ground-breaking to the Las Calaveras series!
Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads had this to say about the blend: “The corojo obscure wrapper results in a flavor profile that, in my opinion, is reminiscent of the signature ‘My Father’ style of delivering classic Nicaraguan structure and intensity, while retaining complexity and balance.”
