The cigar’s shaggy foot leads a dark and oily wrapper down to an intricately shaped torpedo head - which utilizes a strip of Connecticut shade wrapper and finishes with a near-black oscuro leaf at the point.
Just recently, Island Jim has decided to strike again and release a second blend, this time with a dark & tasty San Andres wrapper. If you know anything about cigars, you know just how delicious a San Andres wrapper makes any blend.

Great cigar
This is a great cigar in the medium range. It’s not heavy and it’s not light. Nice draw all the way through and it doesn’t seem to change taste at all during the smoke. They also seem to be very consistent. I haven’t had a bad one yet. This is one of the few I order an entire box at a time.

Great everyday smoke
I was pleasantly surprised by the complexity and consistency of this cigar. I went through the first 4 of the sampler and immediately ordered a box. This is one I plan to keep in my humidor.
