Camacho Imperial Stout Barrel- Aged Toro (6x50 / 5 Pack)
Fresh off the boat, we just got our paws on the limited edition Camacho Imperial Stout Barrel Aged, an eagerly awaited re-release (circa 2017) that rocked the beer-infused cigar marked upon it’s initial debut.
The blend itself is based on the brand’s Triple Maduro line, uses a tasty Mexican San Andrés wrapper with a Honuran Corojo binder and Brazilian, Dominican, and Honduran Corojo fillers. Here’s where it gets interesting: Camacho used special bourbon barrels to age these tobaccos, then shipped them to Oskar Blues, a Colorado brewery, to age Ten Fiddy, the companies signature stout. From there, these barrels were then shipped to Honduras to finish out the lengthy aging process.
Although blend itself airs on the fuller side in terms of strength, the smoking experience rounds everything out in an excellent way. Expect a distinct, exciting exciting experience, with hints of chocolate and cedar, and plenty of stout inspired beer notes. An earthy white pepper on the finish completes yet another swing-for-the-fences release by Camacho.
