*2020 UPDATE: We just got our third (and maybe last) alotment of Aladino Corojo Reserva Limited Edition No. 4 - The first batch sold out in 48 hours. If you haven't gotten your paws on this one, it's a BIG WINNER!!!
The Aladino Corojo Reserva was one of the most anticipated releases we’d received here at the Cigar King. Out of all the cigars we have had the pleasure of enjoying at the IPCPR Retailer’s Tobacco Show, this blend stood out from the rest.
We had heard a rumor through the grapevine that this blend was [allegedly] the original Camacho Diploma formula from over 10 years ago, before the brand was bought out (this rumor is unconfirmed, but nonetheless, an interesting detail we thought we'd add!) The band itself is very reminiscent of the old Camacho Style banding, so needless to say, we were extremely excited to smoke this special release.
Now, Aladino has released 800 boxes of the Corojo Reserva in a delicious corona size, and we're freakin' thrilled! The cigar itself is everything we hoped it would be. Soon after you light the Aladino Corojo Reserva up, you’ll be delightedly met with an all-too-familiar (if you’re an old school Camacho Fan) reunion of rich cedar flavors, black pepper, and even some slight notes of cuban espresso.
Being a Honduran Puro wrapped from head to toe in 100% authentic Cuban-seed Jamastran Corojo tobaccos, you’ll taste pleasant graham cracker spices on the retrohale that are sure to captivate even the most seasoned of palates! As a whole, the Aladino Corojo Reserva is an incredible, box worthy cigar; and we think you’ll agree!
