The Cuban Diplomat is AJ Fernandez's baby. It is a cigar that took over four years of painstaking development. Top grade Nicaraguan tobaccos from Esteli and Jalapa were chosen and aged three years for the filler core. A 5-year old Ecuadorian Habano binder was chosen to keep these core filler tobaccos together and balance the flavor. Finally, a naturally-cured Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is skillfully laid on top to complete the blend. This beautiful, oily looking cigar grabs your attention from the first glance.

Tasting notes are rich and diverse. Flavors include earth, nutmeg, cedar, and pepper with lovely undertones of coffee, caramel, and the slightest hints of cocoa.
