One of the hottest factories producing cigars today is the Raices Cubanas in Honduras. This factory is probably one that you're already familiar with but probably did not know the name. It is the factory responsible for making highly rated cigars such as Alec Bradley Tempus and SCR, Illusione, Viaje, Padilla, and many more. 

To create the Purofino Vida del Fuego, they started with a blend of four year old Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. To tune things up a bit, they use a double binder configuration with leaves from Honduras and Indonesia to give a unique complexity to the smoke. VDF is finished off with a five year old, dark, oily Sun Grown Honduran wrapper. What it all adds up to is a medium to full bodied cigar with earthy flavors, predominant notes of leather and hits of cedar and coffee. This is an outstanding new cigar!
