The Q D’Etat By Quesada is a play on words, taking the common phrase of coup d’etat and attempting to rally cigar smokers into taking a stand against anti-tobacco legislation. The names of the cigars in the two-size line also play on this militaristic theme. The Molotov is rolled to resemble an actual Molotov cocktail (the makeshift bombs the Fins used to battle Soviet troops during the Winter War of 1939). Its figurado shape resembles a bottle, while a pigtail cap is fashioned to look like a rag wick. Similarly, the 60 ring gauge of the Howitzer alludes to the barrel of the M1 Howitzer cannon used during WWII to fight facism.
