To make this new Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real, the makers decided to turn down the strength level and let the high quality tobaccos used for the filler and binder shine through. It was an instant success. Being a different kind of Romeo y Julieta, the cigar makers begin the blend by using high quality filler and binder tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It’s wrapped in a pretty, café-au-lait (heavy on the au-lait) colored Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf. Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real is a mild-medium bodied cigar featuring complex flavors of cream and nuts with hints of coffee and cinnamon. It’s a pleasant cigar that is highly enjoyable and pairs well with coffee and other espresso drinks.
