Unfortunately, for the Al Capone brand, the teamwork never made it to the table for the long-fill, premium cigar under the brand name. The small cigars that were flavored always did well, but these cigars were almost always forgotten by the distributor, sales people and consumers. But hey, that's the way it goes some times. Their loss is your gain, because this closeout is a spectacular offer.
Al Capone cigars were hand made in Nicaragua at Nestor Plasencia's factory (the same factory that makes a good amount of Rocky Patel cigars today). They are all long filler and hand made using Honduran and Nicaraguan filler and binder and a Nicaraguan grown Colorado wrapper. The reult of this blend is a smooth and pleasant mild to medium bodied cigar with flacors of cedar and nuts with a hint of vanilla on the finish. Now here's the best part. These great cigars have been aging in Nestor's factory for close to 10 years. I have smoked about a dozen of these babies in the last few days. They are as described. Super smooth and flavorful, and at $1.40 a stick, they are a steal! So, not only are you going to get a great, well aged smoke, but you're getting one hell of a value!
